A letter on ownership

1st Choice Holdings

This note describes the businesses 1st Choice Holdings owns and the way we intend to steward them. It is a letter. Assets under management, revenue, earnings, and investment returns are not published on this site, and this page does not supply figures the company has not reported.

How the holding company owns

1st Choice Holdings is an asset management company. We build, own, and steward operating businesses, strategic platforms, and long-term investments. The companies we own today are Retail Auctus, Plentrove, UPM, The Governance Agency, 1st Choice Fertilizer, and Purr Shell. Each has its own customers, its own management, and its own results.

We allocate long-term capital where innovation, disciplined governance, strong operations, and market relevance can create enduring value. The portfolio spans agriculture, consumer goods and retail supply, commerce, procurement technology, responsible AI, and sustainable products. A business is added when the case for ownership is sound.

The parent company provides capital, ownership standards, governance, and strategic direction. We support the companies with resources, technology, and perspective when that support is useful. We hold management to clear standards for performance, risk, and governance. The result that matters is the result of the operating business.

We invest with patience, and we govern with discipline. Enduring businesses are created over years, not quarters. The work has three names. Protect value: keep standards plain, including standards for risk. Create value: give a business the capital and attention required to build. Compound value: stay long enough for that work to matter.

The exhibits that follow are maps of the portfolio and of this approach. Exhibit A counts the six companies. Exhibit B is a view of emphasis by theme, and it is labeled as such. Exhibit C sets protect, create, and compound on a long horizon. Exhibit D names what the parent provides. None of them is a financial statement.

A plain ending

Ownership is a long practice. We keep the portfolio to businesses we are prepared to own, and we describe them in plain language. Long-term capital. Responsible stewardship. Lasting value.
